Anthony Matherne, 77, of Houma, passed away on January 22, 2017.

The Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Samart 
Funeral Home of Houma, from 1:00 pm until 4:00pm.

He is survived by his three daughters, Clara M. Matherne, Mona Matherne Hall 
and husband Tommy, Sarah Billiot and wife Jenita; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Hall; 
grandson, Anthony Authement; three great granddaughters, Emma Authement, Ellie 
Authement, Alice Authement; three brothers, Kenneth Matherne and wife Hilda, 
Gary Matherne, Thomas "Tommy" Matherne and wife Dawanna; four sisters, Suzanne 
Kitchens, Margie Yerena and husband Ricardo, Nancy LeBouef, Maryellen McKee; .

He was preceded in death by his father, Alban Matherne; mother, Marie Russo 
Matherne; three brothers, Floyd Matherne, Ernest "Johnny" Matherne, Phillip 
"Jimmy" Matherne; .

Samart is in charge of arrangements.
