Shirley Mai McKinley, 79, a native and a resident of Houma, passed away 
peacefully at 6:04 p.m. on Sunday, January 8, 2017.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, 
January, 20, 2017 at St. Luke Baptist Church, 3755 Bayou Black Drive with 

burial to follow in St. Luke Baptist Church cemetery.

She is survived by her devoted companion Nelson Harris; sisters, Beatrice 
McKinley and Rosemary Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Stephanie Mitchell; parents, Harry, 
Sr. and Ruby Alvis-McKinley; brothers, Harry McKinley, Sr., Melvin McKinley and 
Charles McKinley; sisters, Hazel M. Porche and Olivia M. Galmore.

Arrangements entrusted to Jones Funeral Home of Houma.
