Anne Marie Hebert Smith, 93, born Feb. 19, 1923, and died Jan. 29, 2017.

The last living child of Nelo Joseph Hebert and Daisy Picou Hebert, she is 
preceded in death by her parents and brothers Joseph Nelo "Jan", Julius 
"Jimmy", Ruble "PaLa", Earl, Eldred "Pitt", and Elbert "Duddy" Hebert. 

After moving with her husband, a Coast Guard pilot, to New York, California, 
Mississippi, Florida, Hawaii, Texas, and Alaska, she returned to her native 
home of Bourg, in 1965. 

She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Paul Steele Smith-98, and their 
sons: Michael-71, Dale-66, and Gary-61 and her three grandchildren: Adrian-26, 
Pierre-21, and Simone Smith-19. 

A memorial service will be held at St. Anne Catholic church in Bourg on 
Saturday 9:30 a.m. 

followed by interment in St. Anne Catholic church cemetery.
