He worked in the oilfield for Top Tool Co., and Baker Hughes as a Down Hole Tool Specialist in the Gulf of Mexico and overseas in India and Africa as the Relief Operations Manager. He will be missed dearly by many people in his profession worldwide. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors of the Thibodaux Regional Medical Center and Cancer Center; Dr. James Soignet, his partners, nurses and staff who came to know David over the last 5 years as he bravely fought cancer. The care he received from them was beyond anything we could have imagined. Thanks also for the Thibodaux Home Health nurses for his care each time he came home after winning another battle. One of our biggest regrets will be that he didn't have enough time to share his 3 lifetimes of experiences............. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society. ======================
