Olivia Thomas Triggs, age 84, a native of Raceland and a resident of Thibodaux, 
peacefully transitioned into eternal life on Thursday, January 5, 2017.

Visiting will be held on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 9:00am until the hour of 
service at 11:00am at Third Zion Baptist Church in Raceland. Burial at 

Young Men Benevolent Society Cemetery.

She leaves to cherish her memories, 1 son, James Triggs, Jr. (Maxine),; 1 
daughter, Carolyn Truxillo; 2 brothers, Early Thomas (Ola Mae), Eddie Thomas; 1 
sister, Gertie Walker (Clifford Jr.); 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.

Preceded by her husband, James Triggs, Sr.; parents, Ben and Stella Thomas, 
Sr.; 1 daughter, Joyce Triggs Boyd; 3 brothers, Clarence, Wilbert and Ben 
Thomas, Jr.; 4 sisters, Beatrice and Lillian Joseph, Frances Folse and Eldora 
Thomas.
