A native and resident of Houma, LA died on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at 6:37a.m. The Life of Mrs. Arimenta Victoria will be celebrated at Beautiful Zion Baptist Church 120 Hialeah Ave., Houma, LA 70363 on Saturday, January 14, 2017. Visitation from 9:00a.m.until funeral time at 2:00p.m. Interment at St. Francis #2 Cemetery. She leaves to cherish her memories, two children, Damian Victoria of Colorado Springs, CO and Angelique "Jara" Ouamonguene and husband Alex of Paris, France. One brother, Thomas Phillips, Jr. of Frensno, TX and two sisters, Jo Morgan and Sandra Wilkerson of Crowley, LA., and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Victoria and her parents, Edna Phillips and Adam Arceneaux and two granddaughters. She was a member of Beautiful Zion Baptist Church, New Rising Sun Soul Specials Choir, a Southern University Alumni and Terrebonne Retired Teachers Association. She enjoyed reading, cross-stitching and singing. She was also a retired teacher of Terrebonne Parish School Board. The staff of Community Funeral Home is honored to serve the Victoria family.
