James "Jim" Jules Arceneaux Sr., 83, a native of Bourg, La and resident of 
Houma, passed away Feb. 28, 2017.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 2, 2017, from 5 p.m. until service time 
at 9 p.m. at Samart Funeral Home of Houma. Burial will be at a later date.

He is survived by his three sons, Elton Ray Arceneaux, James Arceneaux Jr., and 
Eric Arecenaux; daughters, Jacqueline Kramer, Deborah Cole, Carolyn Hamilton; 
brother, Kenneth Arceneaux; sisters, Ruby Chauvin, Joyce LeBlanc, and Annabelle 
LeBlanc; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by him wife, Linda Ruth Garner Arceneaux; father, 
Davis Arceneaux; mother, Louise Bouquet Arceneaux; and daughter, Yvonne 
Arceneaux.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
