Berchman "Butch" Bertinot, a native of Sunset, LA and a resident of Bayou Blue, 
passed away on February 10, 2017.

He worked most of his life in the grocery store business, many years at 
Cannata's Food World. He was a Catholic. He enjoyed NASCAR and watching the New 
Orleans Saints. He loved sitting on his patio listening to country music and 
being with neighbors and friends.

The Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Samart 
Funeral Home of Houma, at 9:00 am until 11:00am.

He is survived by his mother - Lucille "Lucy" Lanclos Bertinot, two sons - 
Harvey J. Bertinot, Lee B. Bertinot and wife Katrina Thibodeaux Bertinot, 
daughter in-law - Cynthia M Bertinot, sisters - Drucilla "Dru" Landry and 
Janelle "Jeanie" Martin, brothers - Eby Bertinot Jr. and Nelson Bertinot, 
grandchildren - Meagan Bertinot, Madison Bertinot, great grandchildren - Johnny 
Fonseca and Grace Fonseca.

He was preceded in death by his father - Eby Bertinot Sr. brothers - Robert, 
Jesse Sr. and James Bertinot, sister - Emily Bertinot Eschette .

Samart is in charge of arrangements.
