She was a native and resident of Grand Caillou, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 6, 2017 from 9 AM until funeral time at Holy Family Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Burial will be held in Holy Family Cemetery. She is survived by her sons, Blaine P. Bourg and wife, Wanda, and Deron A. Bourg and wife, Deborah; daughter, Melanie B. Fabre and husband, Terry; brother, Herbert Pitre, Jr. and wife, Lorita; sister, Enola P. Lirette; grandchildren, Jansen Bourg and wife, Jennifer, Meredith Bourg, Lauren LeCompte and husband, Jesse Sr., Jackson Fabre, Brandon Ruttley and wife, Georgia, and Christopher Ruttley and wife, Crissy; great-grandchildren, Hagen Niette, Parker Blakemon, Logan Chauvin, Gavin Bourg, Mia Bourg, Kole Achee, Kodi Bourg, Jesse LeCompte Jr., a baby girl on the way, Adeline Ruttley, Mary Ruttley, baby on the way, Noah Ruttley and Cameron Ruttley. She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Antoine Hillary Bourg; parents, Herbert Cyrus Sr. and Ortise Thibodeaux Pitre; sisters, Eva Grube Carlos and husband, Lincoln, Mary Louise Authement and husband, Ivan Sr., and JoAnn Pitre. She was a devout catholic, whose prayer list and acts of charity were endless. She was a member of the church choir for 40 years, sold fair tickets door to door, member of the Altar Society and served on the finance committee for Holy Family Church. She was a retired manager of the Grand Caillou Recreation District #4. She loved her family unconditionally. She loved cooking for family gatherings. Her wealth of knowledge and life experiences that she shared with us will be a great lost to many. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Bourg Family. ======================
