Mary Chaisson, 66, passed away February 23, 2017 at 10:10AM. 
She was a native of and resident of Houma, LA.

Visitation will be held on, Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Chauvin Funeral Home 
from 9:00AM until service time. Funeral Services will be held on, Thursday, 
March 2, 2017 at Chauvin Funeral Home at 11:00AM 

with burial to follow in Southdown Cemetery in Houma, LA.

Mary is survived by her Sons, Andre Chaisson and wife Nicole Chaisson, Richard 
Chaisson and wife Miranda Chaisson, Morris Chaisson and wife Ginny Chaisson, 
Cordell Chaisson and wife Valerie Chaisson; Daughters, Miranda Chaisson, 
Mirlanda Chaisson and fiance’ Justin Brace, Angie Chaisson, and Jasmine 
Chaisson; Brothers, Alvin Francis, Lyce “Joe” Francis, Donald Francis; Sisters, 
Alenora Francis, Ella Verret, Annavella Fargo, Prescela Francis; and 
Grandchildren, Destyni Chaisson, Lydia Chaisson, Brittani Chaisson, Courtney 
Chaisson, Leighton Bourgeois, Collin Chaisson, Bryson Chaisson, Luke Chaisson, 
Kadian Brace, little one on the way Lennix Chaisson.

She is preceded by her Husband, Wilson Antoine Chaisson; Parents, Joseph Irby 
Francis and Bertha Dion Francis Kelley; Sons, Ivy Francis, Michael Chaisson, 
Clarence Chaisson; Daughters, Savannah Francis, Sabrina Francis, Anna Lee 
Francis; and Brothers, Albert Francis, Ivy Francis, Norris Francis, Calvin 
Francis, Delvin Francis, Melvin Francis, Brady Francis, Vinice Francis, Manule 
Francis.

Mary was an amazing cook. She could always be found enjoying her puzzles. She 
also enjoyed listening to music, Hank Williams, Percy Sledge, and her Gospel 
music. Mary was a loving and caring Mother who could always be counted on. She 
will be dearly missed; but never forgotten.
