Myra Mahler Dempster, 70, was born on May 26, 1946 and passed away on February 
21, 2017. 
She was a native & resident of Thibodaux, LA.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017at St. Lawrence the 
Martyr Church in Kraemer, LA from 9:00 A.M. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 
12:00 P.M. 

Interment will follow in St. Lawrence the Martyr Church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jessie Joseph Dempster; children, 
Randy Dempster & wife Iris, Kelly Dempster, Jessica Prestenbach & husband Cory, 
& Dolly Thibodaux; 7 grandchildren, Colin Schouest, Paxton Prestenbach, Lindsey 
& Logan Thibodaux, Brandon Dempster, Kent & Ally Dempster; mother, Lucy Mae 
Kraemer Mahler; sisters, Marietta Becnel, Ramona Mahler, Kathleen Morvant, & 
Dora Smith; and brothers, Rev. Clyde Mahler, Roy Mahler Sr. & Todd Mahler Sr.

She is preceded in death by her father, Claude Mahler Sr.; brother, Claude 
Mahler Jr.; sister, Verdie Mahler; & grandparents, Clay & Dora Kraemer, and 
Henry Sr. & Florestine Mahler all from Kraemer, LA.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, & friend to everyone who knew her.

Thibodaux Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with handling the funeral 
arrangements & online condolences.
