Linda Marie Chauvin Hebert, 72 , a native of Chauvin and a resident of Houma, 
passed away on February 7, 2017.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at Samart Funeral Home of 
Houma from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. The visitation will resume Thursday, February 
9, 2017 at Samart Funeral Home from 9:00am until 11:00am. The Funeral Service 
will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, at 
11:00 am. 

Burial will take place in the Rogers Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel Chauvin, daughter-in-law, Gwen Fontenot 
Hebert; three sisters, Meryl Picou, Vera Peirce, Debbie Miller; three 
grandsons, Jarred Hebert, Jacob Hebert, Caleb Hebert; great-grandchildren, 2; .

She was preceded in death by her father, Elmore Chauvin; mother, Edna 
Lapeyrouse; two sons, Troy Hebert, Dooley Hebert; brother, Ronald Chauvin; .
