Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Thursday, February 9, 2017 and from 8:00 am until 10:00 am on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Falgout Funeral Home, Houma, LA. Religious Services will be at 10:00 am Friday with burial to follow in Louisiana National Cemetery, Zachary, LA. He is survived by his wife, MorningDove Verret Hopkins; sons, Kevin Hopkins (Jeannette), Frankie "Brave Eagle" Verret, Matthew "Two Hawks", Paul "Two Wolves" Upton; daughters, Elicia White (Huey), Ailia Hopkins, Crystal Feliu (Adalid), Billie Jo "Sun Dancer" Aucoin, Rachel "Tender Heart" Verret, Kayla "Winter Fawn"; brothers, George Hopkins Jr., William "Bill" Hopkins; sister, Carole Balent; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Edward Hopkins and Anna Marie Hopkins; brothers, Leo Hopkins, Robert "Bob" Hopkins and sister, Elenor Grosso. Ken was a retired U.S. Navy Veteran with 25 years of service and 25 years of Civil Service for the NAS. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who always a good joke to tell.
