Ora Lee McGuire, 75, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Houma, 
passed away peacefully at 4:39 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 
2017, at New St. Matthews Baptist Church, 3966 Hwy 311 in Houma. 

Burial will follow in Crescent Farm Cemetery.

She is survived by her devoted companion, Robert Nevis Sr.; sons, Patrick 
(JoAnn) McGuire, Shawn McGuire and Chad (Karen) McGuire; daughters, Melinda and 
Tiffany McGuire; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; godchildren, 
Trudy Turner and Jonathan Bateast; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sarah Sims and Berwick McGuire Sr.; 
brothers, Berwick Jr., Robert Sr. and Milton McGuire Sr.; and sisters, Amy 
Woolens, Adele Ballard, Olivia Francis and Maisie Bateast.

Arrangements entrusted to Jones Funeral Home of Houma.
