Sharon Chiasson Morvant, 62, a native and resident of Thibodaux, LA, passed 
away on Thursday, February 2, 2017.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 8:30 am to 11:00 am 
at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay, LA. A Mass of 
Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am at the church 

followed by burial in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church cemetery in 
Chackbay.

She is survived by her son, Drew Morvant and wife Joy, and her daughter, 
Frannie Guillot and husband Ben; grandchildren, Owen Guillot and Kenzie 
Morvant; parents, Ernest “Jack” Chiasson and Madlyn Chiasson; brothers, Bradley 
Chiasson, Mitchell Chiasson and wife Dawn; sister, Chelsea Clement and husband 
Bernie.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Marcus Morvant; brother, Jeffry 
Chiasson; grandparents, Nelson and Ella Morvant, Sr. and Herbert and Louisiana 
Chiasson.

She was a teacher for the Lafourche Parish School Board for over 30 years. She 
enjoyed spending time with family and grandkids, and her favorite hobbies were 
scrapbooking and traveling.
