She was a native and a resident of Chauvin, LA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 9 AM until funeral time at St. Joseph Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Burial will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery. She is survived by her sons, Clark “Chock: Naquin and wife, Wendy, and Robert “Yogi” Naquin and wife, Alice; daughters, JoAnn N. Pellegrin and husband, Kenneth, and Marlene Naquin; daughter-in-Law, Annie Kay Naquin; 9 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Junior Joseph Naquin; son, Mark J. Naquin; parents, Charley Joseph and Noemie Duplantis LeCompte; brothers, Eugene, Buvens, and Leonce LeCompte; sisters, Nilene and Beulah LeCompte; granddaughter, Leslie Naquin. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She did babysitting for several children and assisted in housekeeping for family and friends who were ill. She was a retired cook for Terrebonne Parish Schools. She was a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion, VFW, the Ladies Altar Society and Court Pere Dendene 1891 Catholic Daughters. And also a past member of the church choir. She helped organize many rummage sales to benefit St. Joseph Church Community, as well as Lagniappe Fair. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Special thanks to TGMC (ER, 4th and 5th floor, and CDU), The Oaks of Houma and St. Catherine’s Hospice.
