Jane Benoit Percle passed away on February 2, 2017 at her home. 
She was a native and life-long resident of Thibodaux, LA. 

Jane was born on July 30, 1936 to Jessie Benoit, Sr. and Anita Soignet Benoit, 
and was married to Roy J. Percle, all of whom preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter, Monica Percle, son Brian M. Percle, and wife, 
Melissa; siblings, Carole Daigle, Jessie Benoit, Jr., and wife Dianne, and Gary 
Benoit and companion, Cheryl; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jane was a parishioner of St. Genevieve Catholic Church. She taught for 32 
years before retiring from the Lafourche Parish School System. She loved to 
travel, and did so throughout the United States, as well as, internationally. 
Jane was an avid reader, enjoyed attending live plays and musicals, and also 
loved hosting gatherings at her home for the family she loved so much. Jane 
will always be remembered as a good friend, caring and supportive sister and 
aunt, and most especially, as a wonderfully loving and devoted mother.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017 at St. Genevieve 
Catholic Church from 11:00 AM until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial 
will take place at 2:00 PM at St. Genevieve Church, 

followed by interment at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Landry’s Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with handling the funeral arrangements 
and online condolences.
