Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2017/f1702.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== U.S. Veteran Paul Werline Picou, 93, a native of Houma, La and a resident of Bourg, La passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 11:30 p.m. Visitation will be held at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc., on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, February 9 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at St. Ann Catholic Church, Bourg, La. Funeral mass will be at 10:30AM at the church with burial in Magnolia Cemetery. He is survived by his sons, Carl and wife Diane Walker and Daniel and wife Faye Walker; daughter, Marilyn and husband Jean Pitre, 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He is preceded by his wife of 47 years, Loretta LeCompte Picou; his parents, Paul E. and Lorena Authement Picou; brothers, William J. and Melvin Picou, Sr. and sister, Rena Picou He worked for Texaco Oil Company for 38 years and was a member of the American Legion, Lions Club and UVL. The family would like to give a special thanks to his caregiver and companion, Mary Jane Hebert. He was a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church., Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Picou family. ======================
