Betty Adams Strong, 77, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Houma passed away 
on February 3, 2017.

Visitation will be on Monday, February 6, 2017 at Landry’s Funeral Home in 
Thibodaux from 9:00AM until funeral time. A religious service will take place 
at the funeral home at 12:00 PM. 

Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

She is survived by her son Cyrus Trosclair Jr.; daughters, Lisa Showalter 
(Jeff) and Wendy Soudelier (Morris Jr.) ; brothers, Terry Adams (Ginny) and 
Daniel Adams (Marty); sisters, Mary Jones, Geraldine Leonard (Cliff) and Pris 
Ryan (David); grandchildren, Sarah, Aaron, Lindsey, Kacie, Jessica and Megan; 
11 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Strong; parents, Joseph and 
Ruby Ayo Adams; daughter-in-law, Julie Trosclair; and her first husband Cyrus 
Trosclair Sr.

She was a beautician, beloved mother, wife and “Meme”.

Landry’s Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
