Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2017/f1702.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== A Funeral Mass will be held for Elsie Wilson, age 87, of Bells, TX at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 13, 2017, preceded by a visitation, beginning at 8:30 AM at St. Francis de Sales Church in Houma, LA. Inurnment will follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. Elsie passed away Friday, February 3, 2017. She was born January 29, 1930, the daughter of Felix Grasso and Sidonia Caillouetta Grasso. Elsie was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sherman. She was a retired teacher and a former Catholic nun who had a love for the Lord and her Catholic faith throughout her life. She was a wonderful wife and mother who loved her friends and family deeply. Among her many talents, she was an accomplished gardener, artist and an impeccable decorator. Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Gaston Wilson; her parents; a brother Anthony Grasso, and a sister, Marie Profumo, all of Houma, LA. She is survived by sons, Brian Wilson and son-in-law, Jerry Hasselbach of Lutz, FL and Bill Wilson and daughter-in-law, Roxanne of Bells, TX; granddaughter, Michelle Phillips of Sherman, TX; great grandchildren, Logan and Conner Phillips; numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sherman, TX. Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to serve the Wilson family. ======================
