She was also known as Ms. B Secretary of Elton A. Darcey. A private graveside service will be held at an undisclosed date at Magnolia Cemetery. She is survived by her beloved husband, Norman Joseph Bergeron; daughter, Lisa Bergeron Loupe and husband, Shannon Paul Loupe; three grandchildren, Joshua Roy Phillips and wife, Danielle Blanchard Phillips, Tyler Joseph Lanegrasse and girlfriend, and Meagan Boudreaux, Emily Claire Lanegrasse and boyfriend, Joshua Engleton; five great-grandchildren, Braden Landry, Elijah Phillips, Adeline Lanegrasse, Colton Phillips and Kenzley Engleton; three step-children, William Bergeron and wife, Lilly, Christine Palmer and husband, John, Denise Bergeron and boyfriend, Nick Woodruff; step-granddaughter, Sara Handley; three brothers, Dale Bourgeois and wife, Gayle Vedros Bourgeois, AAron Bourgeois, LLoyd Bourgeois and wife, Darla Martin Bourgeois; two sisters, Carmen Naquin and husband, James, Janet Theriot and husband, Dusty; brother-in-law, Wilbert Bergeron Jr.; and sister-in-laws, Iris Guidry and husband, Daniel, Patricia Sagona, Carol Hebert and husband, Herbert "Slim"; also numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Gladys Bourgeois; in-laws, Wilbert and Edith Bergeron; brother, Wayne Bourgeois; sister, Mary Lynn Gambarella; brother-in-law, Adam Gambarella and Richard Sagona; sister-in-laws, Dorothy Bourgeois and Maryann Bergeron; and nephew, Kevin Bourgeois. The family would like to give special thanks to the Medical Team, Hospice of South Louisiana for all their care and affection.
