Mr. Billiot was a native and resident of Dulac during the 75 years of his life. Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 9 PM on Tuesday, March 28 at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma and from 9 AM until service time on Wednesday, March 29 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Grand Caillou. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday at the church with burial to follow in Holy Family Catholic Church cemetery in Grand Caillou. He is survived by his dedicated and loving wife of 50 years, Doris Billiot; two daughters, Vonda Kay Billiot and Jamie Joy Billiot; son, Douglas Phillips and wife, Angie; eleven grandchildren, Larry Phillips and wife, Shana, Erin and wife, Chelsea, Lara and husband, Rocky, Desmond and companion, Kendy, Suwonna and husband, Jose, Chianne and companion, Marty, Harlie and husband, Todd, Paul and companion, Heather, Meah, Eddie, and their dad Barry Trahan, Camille and her dad, Carl Denton, and grand-dog, Bear. 23 great grandchildren; Emily, Mason, Caine, Trace, Ty, Tristen, Lauren, David, Jolee, Eli, Lilliana, Natalie, Andrea, Jose Jr., Brylee, Braya, Emree, Emma, Tyler, Tayden, Mackenzie, Abel, and Aubrie; sister, Catherine Porche; brother, Joseph Billiot Sr. and wife, Cecile; 10 godchildren; brothers and sisters in law, cousins, and many nieces and nephews and an abundance of life-long friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Evest Adam Billiot and Mable Francis; daughter Donna Phillips; sisters, Brunella Trosclair and Laura Mae Solet; and grandson, Chance David Billiot. T-Roy was a commercial fisherman and spent many years navigating the gulf with his expertise. He was a hard-working and loving man, and enjoyed bring a smile to everyone's life with a good joke. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and fun loving spirit. He was a loving husband, dad, brother, son, cousin, uncle, brother-in-law, neighbor, friend, godfather and Captain.
