He was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2017 from 5 PM until 9 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home and Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 9:30 AM until funeral time at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM. Burial will be held in Holy Rosary Cemetery. He is survived by his sister, Gail Marie Boudwin; sisters-in-law, Helen and Peggy Boudwin; nieces and nephews, Percy “Pokey” Boudwin III, Cheryl B. Boudreaux, Larke E. Boudwin, Elliott Lebans, Jerome “Mikey” Boudwin, godchild- Erick Lebans, godchild-Julie B. Authement, Katie M. Boudwin and godchild-Brett M. Boudwin; 13 great-nieces and nephews; 1 great-great-nephew; uncle, L.J. Champagne; great-aunt, Gloria Picou. He is preceded in death by his parents, Percy Anthony Sr. and Birdie Margarite Champagne Boudwin; brothers, Percy A. Boudwin Jr., Jerome M. Boudwin and Wayne A. Boudwin. Dwayne was born on February 14, 1961 on Valentine’s Day and that day was Mardi Gras day also. He was a self-employed shrimper. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, cooking and gambling.
