She was a native of Vermillion Parish and a longtime resident of Houma, Louisiana. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in Magnolia Chapel on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Liturgy of the Word at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery no. 2 Jane is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Simms Brouillette; son, Stanley Brouillette and wife Tammy; grandson, David Brouillette; Godchild, Sue Perry Richard; numerous nieces and nephews. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan and Ada Lemaire Perry; sisters, Eunice Perry Trahan and Camille Perry Broussard; brothers, Paul Maxie Perry, Hampton Perry, and Raymond Perry. Jane was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She met the love of her life, Simms, in 1949, and they were married on June 10, 1950 in Abbeville, LA. Shortly after moving to Houma, she started her career in banking at the Bank of Terrebonne as a switchboard operator. She worked there for over 40 years until her retirement in 1997 as Assistant Vice President. Following her retirement, she volunteered at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in the Church office for nine years. She was loved and admired by many for her exceptional people skills, her sense of humor, and her beautiful smile. Above all else, she loved and adored her family.
