Percy "Black Jack" Calloway, 76.  A native of Schriever, LA and resident of 
Raceland, LA died on Friday, March 24, 2017.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend Mr. Calloway home 
going service on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Community Funeral Home 230 S. 
Hollywood Rd., Houma, LA 70360. His service will be officiated by Rev. David 
Rhodes.  Visitation from 9:00a.m. until funeral time at 11:00a.m. 

Interment at Holy Rosary Cemetery 8594 Main St., Houma, LA 70363.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Melvina F. Calloway. Four sons, 
Percy E. Calloway; Percy Diggs; Kunta Green and Glenn Simmons. Eight daughters, 
Diane (Jaques) Calloway; Evangeline (Reggie) Diggs; Nicole (Markeith) Franklin; 
April (Brandon) Diggs; Marion (Howard) Steward; Sanafa Washington; Elonda 
Washington and Dana Calloway Jacob. Three brothers, Wilbert Calloway, Jr., 
Louis Calloway, Sr. and Robert Maize. Three sisters, Dora Calloway Jones 
(Kenneth), Stella Calloway and Gloria (John) Grant. One sister-in-law, Mary 
Calloway and son-in-law, Derek Lanus.
Best friend, Chester Moe, 28 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Barrow and Wilber Calloway, Sr., 
and step mother, Selena Sneeze Hester. One daughter, Melina Lanus. Two sisters, 
Eloise Moultie, Minerva Nixon and sister-in-law, Bonnie Calloway and brothers, 
Freddie and Earl Calloway.

The staff of Community Funeral Home is honored to serve the Calloway family.
