Horace Joseph Cunningham, 85, a native and resident of Houma, La, passed away 
on Saturday, March 18, 2017.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 
Houma, La. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m., 

with burial immediately following Mass in Holy Rosary Catholic Church cemetery, 
Houma.

Horace is survived by his daughter, Angela and husband Perry Lirette of 
Chauvin, La, sons, Keith and wife Gail Cunningham of Chauvin, La, Terry and 
Denise Cunningham of Houma, La, Kenneth Cunningham of Houma, La, and Darryl and 
wife Penny of Houma, La; 12 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren; siblings 
Leeroy Cunningham, Roberta Fanguy, Annie Parks and Jason Cunningham.

Horace is preceded in death by his wife, Adeline Ellender Cunningham; parents, 
Loveless and Mabel LeCompte Cunningham; and brother, Lloyd Cunningham.

Horace was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He was a retired 
Diesel Mechanic with Otis Engineering for 20 years. He loved fishing, hunting, 
family gatherings and loved watching Western programs.

Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc, is honored to serve the Cunningham family.
