Timothy Anthony Eschete, 58, died March 15, 2017 at 10:58 PM. 
He was a native and resident of Houma, LA.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 5 PM until 9 PM at 
Chauvin Funeral Home in the Dauphine Chapel and Monday, March 20, 2017 from 
8:15 AM until funeral time at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral Church with a Mass 
of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Cindy Ann Trahan Eschete; son, Adam 
John Eschete and wife, Betsy; daughter, Holly Lynn Derouen and husband, Scott; 
brothers, Floyd Eschete Jr. and wife, Elaine, Ernest Eschete and wife, Sandra, 
Daniel Eschete Sr. and wife, Theresa, and Mark Eschete and wife, Roma; sister, 
Norma J. Durham; grandblessings, David Apgar, Kaitlynn Terrebonne, and Julia, 
Lauren, Lainey, Ashley, Katie and Kadin Matherne.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd John Sr. and Hilda Marie Bergeron 
Eschete; sister, Susan Voisin and husband, Cecil and their daughter Jessica 
Sue; brother-in-law, Elton Durham; niece, Kristi “Bug” Lirette. 

He was self-employed as a mud and fluids engineer. He enjoyed fishing, 
crabbing, shrimping, NHRA drag racing and Mardi Gras. He was a loving husband, 
father, grandfather and brother. He never met a stranger as he loved people and 
loved life.
