Emile Joseph Gagneaux, 91, died Friday, March 3, 2017 at 7:31 p.m. 
He was a native of Donner and a resident of Houma, La.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 6, 2017 from 10 a.m. until service time 
at Chauvin Funeral Home Inc., Liturgy of the Word will be held at noon at the 
funeral home. 

Burial will be held at St. Francis No. 2 Cemetery.

He is survived by his sons, Robin Gagneaux and Jerry Gagneaux; daughter, Karen 
G. Theriot and husband, Ernest; grandchildren, Rebecca T. Finger and husband, 
Dr. Simon Finger, Dr. Aaron Theriot and wife, Brandee Poole Theriot, Drew 
Gagneaux and Hannah Gagneaux; and seven great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Jeannette Rita Olivier 
Gagneaux, parents, Emile Robert and Mamie LaJaunie Gagneaux; brothers, Jude, 
Willard, Rudy and Calvin Gagneaux; sisters, Elinora and Wanda Gagneaux.
