A memorial service will be held in his honor on Thursday, March 16, 2017, at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral, Thibodaux, LA., from 8:00 am until his memorial mass at 11:00 am. A private graveside services will be held at a later date. He is survived by his mother, Enola Ponvelle Goulas; two daughters, Daphne (David) Jones, Margo Goulas; son, Patrick (Kristie) Goulas; brothers, Thomas, Ronald, Daniel Goulas; sisters, Phyllis "FiFi" G. Toups, Donna G. Naquin, Debra G. Fournet, Robyn G. Iver; 3 grandchildren Maggie, Andrew, and Winston. He was preceded in death by his father, Carroll D.Goulas Sr.; He served in the Marines from 1957-1963. Graduated from Southeastern University where he played football. He was known as “Coach” by many from his time as a football coach and teacher at Thibodaux College, which would later be known as E. D. White C.H.S (1965-1967), Plaquemine High School (1965-1967), and Nicholls State (1972-1973). He retired from Cross Equipment. He was an avid hunter and fisherman throughout his life.
