Rodney “Goosey” Joseph Guise, 57, died March 15, 2017 at 4:35 PM. He was a 
native and resident of Chauvin, LA.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 5 PM until 9 PM at 
Chauvin Funeral Home in the Magnolia Chapel.

He is survived by his son, Lawrence J. Guise and wife, Kayla, and Jobie J. 
Guise and wife, Erica; daughter, Christie L. Guise; mother, Nellie Theresa 
Smith Guise; sisters, Donna G. Boquet, Doreen G. Foret and husband, David, Lisa 
G. Pellegrin and husband, Donnie, and Mona G. Theriot and husband, Darrel; 
grandchildren, Bre’Nee Leigh, Nathan Joseph and Brady Joseph Guise; 
godchildren, Hollie Foret and Summer Boquet.

He is preceded in death by his father, Nolan Joseph Guise; brother-in-law, 
Ricky J. Boquet.

He enjoyed shooting pool, camping, and playing cards with family and friends.
