John Adam Livas, 53, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Schriever, 
passed away at 9:08 a.m. on Friday, March 3, 2017.

Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church, 2766 Hwy 311 in Schriever on 
Saturday, March 11, 2017, from 9 a.m. until funeral time at 11 a.m., 

with burial to follow in First Baptist Church cemetery, in Schriever.

He is survived by two brothers, Clarence and Donald Livas Sr. (Melinda); three 
sisters, Joyce Noble, Mable Chatman (Lloyd) and Gail Celestin (Donald); sister-
in-law, Brenda Livas; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Josh Sr. and Rosa Howard-Livas; and 
brothers, Josh Jr., Henry Sr., Alvin and Harvey Livas.
