Veronica T. Lovell, 48, a native and resident of Houma, passed away on 
Wednesday, March 15, 2017.

Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 10 PM on Sunday, March 19 at Falgout 
Funeral Home in Houma and from 9 AM until service time on Monday, March 20 at 
Holy Family Catholic Church in Grand Caillou. A Mass of Christian burial will 
be held at 11 AM on Monday at the church 

with burial to follow in Holy Family Catholic Church cemetery in Grand Caillou.

She is survived by her husband, Rodney Parfait; 4 children, Amanda Billiot, 
Kayla Billiot and companion, Derrick Elk, Rodney "Lil Rodney" Parfait and 
companion, Alaina Brunet, and Emily Parfait; 3 grandchildren, Liam Elk, Aubree 
Fraizer, and Rhylee Parfait; 5 brothers, Weldon Lovell and wife, Beverly, 
Donald Lovell and wife, Barbara, Douglas Lovell, Tony Lovell and wife, Lynette, 
and Junior Lovell; 2 sisters, Carolyn Doiron and husband, Louis, and Brenda 
Lovell; and mother-in-law, Geraldine Parfait.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony Lovell, Sr. and Elta Billiot; 
and sister, Kathy Lovell.

She loved sewing, crafts, and cooking. She was a devoted wife, mother, 
grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend – she was the rock of the family and 
will be greatly missed. 

The family would like to thank the staff at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center.
