Flo Matherne, 71, a native and resident of Mathews, La passed away March 3, 
2017.

No service as per her wishes. 

Flo donated her body to science in hope of finding a cure or treatment for lung 
cancer. 

As in life she gave and is still giving after passing. 

Flo is survived by her loving family, Roland (Florence), Lester, and Buddy 
(Julie), Gloria Melancon and Sandra Baye. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Annie Matherne; and sister, 
Una Adams.

The family would like to thank the staff of Mary Bird Perkins Canter Center and 
the staff of Journey Hospice for their loving care.
