June Paine Morvant, a long-time resident of Thibodaux, La., died on Saturday, 
March 25, 2017.

She is survived by her four daughters, Martha Morvant, Elise Morvant (Debra 
Pence), Anne Morvant (Christian Perago), and Denise Brown (Mike); three sons, 
Richard Morvant, Jr. (Susan LeBoeuf), John Morvant, and William Morvant 
(Rhonda); 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Albert Morvant, Sr.; her 
parents Curtis and Enola Paine; one sister, Barbara Bridges; one daughter Mary 
Linda Morvant; and two sons, Lawrence Daniel Morvant and Louis Henry Morvant.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral on Tuesday, March 28th 
at 10 am. 

A private burial will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the charity 
of your choice.
