Franklin B. P. (Buddy) Pierce, Jr. 82, a native of Mathews, La., and resident 
of Thibodaux, LA passed away on March 15, 2017.

A visitation will be held in his honor on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at St. 
Thomas Aquinas, from 8:30 am to funeral mass. A Mass of Christian burial will 
be at 11:00 am, at St. Thomas Aquinas. 

The burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Thibodaux, LA.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jo Anne Babin Pierce; three daughters, 
Patricia "Patty" Pierce Pfiel (Al), Allison Pierce Ford (John) , Peggy Pierce 
Dill (John); son, Franklin B. Pierce, III; grandchildren, Eric, Kevin and Scott 
Ford and Riley Dill; brothers, Fred, Daniel, and Herbert Pierce; sisters, Elsie 
P. Trant and Helen P. Vicknair.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin B. P. Pierce, Sr. and 
Juliette Richard Pierce and brother Edward Pierce.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His greatest joy was spending 
time with his family.

He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
