Rose Mary Joseph Reed passed away peacefully at the age of 80 on March 9, 2017. 
She was a native and resident of Raceland, LA.

Her home going service will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Raceland, LA 
on Saturday, March 18, 2017. Visitation from 10:00a.m. until funeral time at 
11:00a.m. 

Interment at Mt. Zion Baptist Church cemetery in Raceland.

She is survived by her five children, Sharlene, Frederick, Jeffery, Roland, Jr. 
and Tyrone Reed, Sr. Three brothers, Alcy, Warren and Charles Joseph, Sr. 12 
grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Reed, Sr., and her parents, 
Clarence and Correlia Joseph. Brothers, Earnest, Sr., Clarence Jr., Jessie, 
Sr., and L. J. Joseph.  One sister, Thelma Lewis.

She was a devoted and faithful member of First United Pentecostal Church of 
Mathews for 38 years. She retired from Lafourche Community Action Agency and 
later LARC.

The Staff of Community Funeral Home is honored to serve the Reed family.
