Bernadette Dhuet Savoie, 64, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017, peacefully 
at home in Golden, Colorado. 

Although born in Houma, La. to Wilbert (Sr.) and Thelma (Connie) Dhuet and 
raised in the South, Bernadette spent most of her adult life enjoying the 
beauty of Colorado with her husband of 38 years, Perry James Savoie of Houma; 
and two daughters, Sara Savoie Miller (husband, Eric and son, Caden of Phoenix, 
Arizona) and Kelly Savoie (fiance', Jay Anderson; and daughters, Hannah and 
Haley of Denver, Colorado).

As a loving wife and mother, Bernadette most enjoyed spending time with family 
and friends, being a good friend, listening to music, traveling, creating all 
things beautiful, decorating, cooking (which included Colorado's only true
Southern gumbo), and crafting and dominating fantasy football.

Bernadette was preceded in death by her parents as well as father-in-law and 
mother-in-law, Louis Savoie and Kate Danos.

Private services will be held in Houma amongst family and friends. We will 
celebrate Bernadette's life and honor her legacy which will continue on by 
sharing her faith, love and joy.
