Lurey Joseph Terrebonne, 85, a resident of Cut Off drew his last breath 
peacefully, with family and friends near his side on March 26, 2017. 

Lurey (Bason) and his twin brother were born on September 4, 1931 in Golden 
Meadow.

Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 29 
from 10 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 
at 12 p.m., 

with a private burial at a later date.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannette Danos Terrebonne; half-brother, Raleigh 
Pitre; children, Shelly Mousseau, Mary Beth Harcrow, and Lisa Martin; 
grandchildren, Celeste, Jason and Beth Aucoin, Terry Jack(T-Jay) Hebert, 
Angelle Richardson, Andrea Taylor, Lauren Pitts, Leslie Harcrow, Jace Guidry, 
Laurie Doucet, Patton Terrebonne, Cole, Camille and Caroline Martin; great-
grandchildren, Eryn Taylor, Katelyn Aucoin, Alexis Lodrigue, Logan Bergeron, 
Tylia Corsaro, Rylie Angelle, Jase Hebert, Wyatt and Waylon Richardson, Avery, 
and Jax Taylor, Cobb Guidry, and Natalie Doucet. 

He was preceded in death by his, father, Roosevelt Terrebonne; mother, Maggie 
Lerrille Terrebonne Pitre; step father, Ortis Pitre; brothers, Calvin 
Terrebonne and Lionel Terrebonne (twin brother); children, Glenn Terrebonne, 
Curt Terrebonne, Marie Terrebonne, Jacob Terrebonne, and Patrick Terrebonne; 
and grandchildren, Brandon Terrebonne and Jacob Terrebonne.

He will be greatly missed by family and friends.s
