Trosclair, 83, a native and resident of Grand Caillou, Louisiana died on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at 1:30 pm. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017 from 8:00 AM until funeral time at Holy Family Catholic Church, Dulac, La. Funeral Mass will be held at the church at 11:00 AM with burial in Holy Family Catholic Church cemetery, Dulac. Beverly is survived her husband of 65 years, James J. Trosclair; Sons, James M. (Karen Samanie) of Dulac, Brian C. (Carmelite “Pixie” LeBlanc) of Houma, and Clark P. (Angela Ross) Trosclair of Dulac; Daughters, Jenny T. (John) Bergeron, Cheryl T. (Danny) Chaisson and June T. (Frank) LeBouef; brothers, Bruce and Samuel Authement; sister, Agatha A. King; 19 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, Evois J. and Ida Marie Bourg Authement; brother, Edgar Authement; great-grandson, Elijah Anthony Cherry; sister, Bernadette Tolbert; grandson, Joey Duplantis. Beverly was a homemaker. She was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church, a member of the Holy Family Altar Society, K.C. Ladies Auxiliary, St. Joseph Altar Society and Recipient of the Bishops Medal and was an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist. Beverly loved cooking, fishing, spending time with family and friends and crocheting. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Holy Family Catholic Church.
