Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2017/f1703.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Gertrude Boquet Aucoin Waggoner, 73, a native of Bourg and a resident of Pointe-Aux-Chenes, passed away peacefully Friday, March 17, 2017. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Samart Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Montegut. A mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. at the church, followed by the burial in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Pointe-Aux-Chenes. She is survived by her second husband, Wayne Waggoner; sons, Laine Aucoin and Daniel Aucoin; daughter, Laurie Dugas and husband Keith; stepson, Barry Waggoner and wife Amy; stepdaughter, Lyn Henderson and husband Bill; grandchildren, Renee’ Fonseca and husband Daniel, Cody Billiot and wife Lindsay, Kaycee Gautreaux, Derek Aucoin, Kyle Dugas and wife Alli, Brandon Aucoin and wife Demi, Brandy Aucoin and companion Jacob Gros, Sadie Aucoin, Austin Aucoin, Abby Aucoin, and Cullen Aucoin; step-grandchildren, Tinley Waggoner, Brock Waggoner, Katie Henderson, and Lauren Henderson; great-grandchildren, Jace, Alyssa, Caleb, Reagan, Cole, Kinslee, Kaydence, Alannah, Alyssa, Tristan, Ella, Will, A’aleah, Baylyn, and Brooklyn; sisters, Ruth Pinell, and Rose Mary Rhodes and husband Donald; brother, Andrew Boquet. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jerry Aucoin; parents, Rosena and Louis Boquet; son, Larry Aucoin; daughter, Kay Aucoin; sisters, Mayola Blanchard and Jane Champagne; brothers, Charles, Roy, Allen, Julius, Carl, Lloyd, and Cyril Boquet. Gertrude enjoyed gardening, outdoor activities, and road trips with her friends and family. She was a devoted Catholic and parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who will be missed dearly. The family would like to thank Dr. R. Henry, Nurse Practitioners Annette Windham and Beau Leonard, and Hospice of South Louisiana, especially Jill, Ashley, and Paul. Samart is in charge of arrangements. ======================
