Lorene S. Watkins departed this life on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at her 
residence in Thibodaux, LA. 
She was 90, a native of Thibodaux, LA. 

Visiting on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Moses Baptist Church, Thibodaux, LA at 
9:00am until Memorial Serivce at 10:00am followed by Religious Services at 
11:00am. Rev. Lionel Griffin, Sr. officiating. 

Burial in Moses Baptist Church Cemetery, Thibodaux. 

Survived by 1 son, Gregory M. Watkins and 1 daughter, Lynda Matthews, both of 
Plano, TX. Also survived by 3 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other 
relatives and friends. 

Preceded in death by her husband, Gabriel M. Watkins; both parents, Charlotte 
and Randall Simmons; 1 brother, Milton Simons; 3 sisters, Marjorie S. Johnson, 
Doris S. Simmons and Catherin S. Washington.
