He traveled throughout LA and MS selling appliances for 50 years working for Glidenmire Distributors and McDonald Sales. He was a member of the "Piece of Cake" band and he was inducted into the LA Swamp Pop Hall of Fame for the song "Don't take it so hard" with Philbo and the band. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and friend. He will be dearly missed by everyone that knew him. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at Samart Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Samart Funeral Home at 7:00 pm. He is survived by his son, Anthony "Tony" Paul Boudreaux and companion Wanda Naquin; daughter, Beth Boudreaux; grandson, Joshua Boudreaux; granddaughter, Courtnie Foret and husband Todd Jr.; great-grandson, Noah Foret; brother, Norman Boudreaux, Sr.; . He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Bourg Boudreaux; father, Louis Boudreaux; mother, Lorita Lirette; brother, Claude Boudreaux; two sisters, Ruby Cuneo, Rita Dubois; . In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, in Phillip's name. Samart is in charge of arrangements. ======================
