Rosemary Papa Bourgeois, 92, a native of Thibodaux, who passed away on April 3, 
2017, at 9:06 am.

A visitation will be held in her honor at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Chruch 
Thibodaux, LA on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 9:00am until the Mass of 
Christian Burial at 11:00am. The burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in 
Thibodaux, LA.

She is survived by her son, Bruce Bourgeois and wife, Katherine; two 
grandchildren, Brad and Chirstie; one great grandchild, Coby; also survived by 
three brothers, Nick, Louis and Mike Papa.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rayford John Bourgeois; parents, 
Vincent and Justin Tardo Papa; three sisters, Sarah Gabb, Anna Mae Totina, and 
Lou Ann Faucheaux; five brothers, Vincent, Jr., Sam, Charlie, Jutz, and George 
Papa.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was loved 
by all for her kindness and generosity.

Thanks to Assumption Healthcare and Rehab in Napoleonville and Journey Hospice 
for her excellent care.

Landry is in charge of arrangements.
