Aline E. Buquet, 96, of Houma, passed away on April 10, 2017.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 17, 2017 from 5pm to 9pm at Samart 
Funeral Home and Tuesday, Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 9am to 11am at St. 
Gregory Barbarigo Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, 
April, 18, 2017 at 11am at St. Gregory Barbarigo Church, 

followed by the burial in St. Francis De Sales Cemetery No. 2.

She is survived by her children, Edna Johnson, Gloria Sevin and husband Nolan, 
Chris Buquet Sr., Debra Corzo and husband Oscar, and Clint Buquet Sr. and wife 
Lucinda; sister, Lillian Pichauffe; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 
and 12 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Buquet; parents, Paul and Edna 
Babin; siblings, Essie Babin, Whyley Babin, Effie Babin, and Lilly Dupre; 
grandson, Nolan Jr.; great grandson, Ethan Michael and 1 great granddaughter.

She loved baking, vacationing, and spending time with her family, who she loved 
dearly.

Samart is in charge of arrangements.
