Guy Wilbert Clement, 97, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017. Born November 
24, 1919 he was a native and resident of Chackbay, LA.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 12th from 8:00AM until service time 
at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will 
begin at 11:00AM 

with burial to follow in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church cemetery.

He is survived by three daughters, Kathy Caperton, Karen Steib and husband 
William, Kyla Clement; grandchildren, Gina, Jon and Jim Clement, Dr. Caroline 
Caperton, Guy and Ainsley Steib, and Brooke and Matthew Diehl; two great 
grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and daughter in law, Maureen T. 
Clement.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 74 years, Rita Hebert Clement; son, 
Kermit Clement; parents, Joseph and Marie Clement; brothers, Norris Clement; 
sisters, Irene Clement and Enola Braud.

The family would like to thank Father Bennie and the staff of Our Lady of 
Prompt Succor Church, the physicians and staff of Thibodaux Home Health, St. 
Joseph Hospice, Regional Internal Medical Associates, Cardiology Institute of 
the South and all healthcare providers that assisted in his care at home.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Knights of Columbus 
Council #8743 or the Chackbay Volunteer Fire Department both of which he was a 
charter member.
