Marion Wilson Ruffin-Conerly, 99, a native of Lafourche Parish and a resident 
of Thibodaux, passed away peacefully at 11 p.m. on Monday, April 17, 2017.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until funeral time at 11 a.m. on Saturday, 
April 29, 2017, at Allen Chapel AME, 1106 Lagarde St. in Thibodaux. 

Burial will follow in Allen Chapel AME church cemetery.

She is survived by her daughter, Jacinta M. Ruffin; three granddaughters, 
Daneechi Johnson, Chezley Ruffin, and Taylor Dyer; and two great-
granddaughters, Kennedi Young and Zoe Henderson.

She was preceded in death by her former husbands, Freddie Ruffin and Narvel 
Conerly; and parents Golena Bryant Lockward (Henry) and Edwin L. Wilson.
