Joseph Pierre Crosby, 84, a native and resident of Cut Off, passed away April 
7, 2017 at 4:39 pm at AMG Specialty Hospital in Houma, LA. 

A visitation will be held on Wednesday April 12, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church in Cut Off from 10 am until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial 
will take place at 12 noon 

with burial following in Sacred Heart Catholic Church cemetery in Cut Off.

Mr. Joseph is survived by his sons, Larry Crosby wife Joyce, and Ronald Crosby 
wife Emelda; daughter, Deborah Thibodeaux husband Murphy; grandchildren, Nicole 
Roddy husband Craig, Jared Crosby, Josh Crosby fiancé' Anita Mirchandani, and 
Jessica Orgeron husband John; great grandchildren, Brock and Lilly Roddy and 
Kodi Orgeron; sisters, Rose Worley and Judy Crosby; and numerous nieces and 
nephews.

Mr. Crosby is preceded in death by his wife, Eula Daigle Crosby; parents, Urbin 
"Padoo" and Zomie Marie Crosby; siblings, Emma Worley, Vincent Crosby, and 
Gertrude Callais.

He was retired from Valentine Papermill after over 33 years of service. After 
retirement, he worked for Sacred Heart Catholic Church until retirement from 
there in 2015. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3150 for many 
years.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Oaks in Houma and AMG Specialty 
Hospital for the care they provided Mr. Joseph.
