Nesie B. Falgoust, 96 years of age, was a lifelong resident of Vacherie, LA and 
passed away quietly in her sleep Sunday, April 23, 2017 in Lafourche Home for 
the Aged located in Thibodaux, LA after living there for 27 months. 
She was born on July 27, 1920.

Nesie went to her Lord after living an exemplary life of devotion to her 
family. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 9:00am until 
11:00am at Our Lady of Peace, Vacherie, LA . A Mass of Christian burial will be 
held at 11:00am at the church with interment to follow at the church cemetery.

She leaves behind 5 generations to cherish her memory. Her son O'Neil Jr. and 
his wife Harolyn and grandchildren, Shawn, OP III, and Jason and wife Holly 
Falgoust and one great granddaughter, Alexandria. Her daughter Sharleen F. 
Hotard and husband James "Dwight" Hotard. Grandchildren include Charmaine 
Berzas and husband Keith, Aubrey Hotard and wife Dawn, and Heidi H. Cortez. 
Great Grandchildren are Benjamin Kliebert, Ayda Porrier, Adrial and Blaize 
Hotard, Masyn and Riley Cortez. Great-Great grandchildren Carleigh and Charli 
Kliebert and Zachary Porrier. She is also survived by her siblings; brother, 
Henry Brock and sister, Earline Cortez.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband O'Neil (40) Falgoust; parents, 
Amelie Ockmond Brock and Aurlien "Jack" Brock; siblings; sisters, Aurliea B. 
Cheramie, Terese B. Cazes, Florence B. Ullo, Amelie B. Pampas; and brothers, 
Aurlien (Yay-Yay) Brock and Murphy Brock.

The family would like to thank the many people who were so kind and made her 
stay so enjoyable at Lafouche Home for the Aged located on Tiger Drive in 
Thibodaux. Mom loved the residence so dearly and would forever praise the 
facility every chance she had. Also we would to remiss if we did not thank 
Norte Dame Hospice and Dr. Raja Talluri for their compassionate care extended 
to our family during this difficult time. Mom was truly blessed to have so many 
friends during her time on earth and will be missed by all who knew her. Go fly 
to heaven Mom and take care of all the little children and flowers as these 
were your passion on earth.
