Bobby Joseph Gonzales, Sr., 54, a native and resident of Thibodaux, LA, passed 
away on Thursday, April 20, 2017 surrounded by his family.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at 
Thibodaux Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will begin at 6:00 pm at the funeral 
home.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Gonzales; daughters, Melinda Horsley and Dawn 
Oubre; sons, Bobby Gonzales Polk and Timothy Gonzales; sister, Cindy Gonzales 
Phillips; brothers, Timmy Gonzales and Ronnie Christensen; 9 grandchildren; 3 
great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by parents, Leon Gonzales and Vergie Buras Christensen; 
brother, Danny Gonzales; daughter, Teresa Green.

Bobby will be missed by everyone who has known him and loved him. The family 
would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Journey Hospice, 
especially his nurse, Brad Rhodes. 

The family is accepting donations to assist with funeral expenses.
