Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2017/f1704.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Mollie Ruth Rollins Lirette Hoffmann, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, peacefully left this life on Sunday, April 9, 2017, at the age of 77. She was a native of Lake Charles, Louisiana and a resident of Houma and Thibodaux. She is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew J. Rollins and Ruth M. Young Rollins, her sister Marian “Pete” Rollins de la Bretonne Shaver, and her husbands, Reggie A. Lirette, Jr. and John F. Hoffmann. As a young girl, Mollie attended Houma Elementary School and went on to graduate from Terrebonne High School with the class of 1957. Following high school she continued her education attending Southern Louisiana Institute (SLI) in Lafayette, LA in clerical studies for only a few years before marrying and starting a family. Mollie had a joy for life and enjoyed gardening, painting and music. Her love for music was evidenced by her dedication to barbershop singing and several years of membership in the Bayou Chapter of Sweet Adelines. She is survived by her 4 children; daughter, Mollie Sue Lirette Borne and husband, Ben; son, Keith J. Lirette and wife, Andrea; daughter, Pamela Lirette Gyan and husband, Joseph; and daughter, Lyndel Lirette Dryden; 7 grandchildren; Brian Dryden,Jr., Sarah Borne Simon, Rebecca Borne Alcala, Claire Borne, Jonathan Borne, Penny Gyan Flores and Emily Gyan; 6 great-grandchildren; Holden Dryden, Beau and Carter Simon, Ocean and Eden Alcala and Abel Flores; one sister, Beth Rollins Breaux and husband Mike; one brother, Jack Rollins and wife Susan; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial visitation will be at Thibodaux Funeral Home on Wednesday April 12, 2017 from 9:00 AM till funeral time. A religious service will take place at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Thibodaux Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements. ======================
